Training

For many years I have been involved in the training of other professionals:

• training junior barristers in advocacy;

• guiding solicitors due to take the judge’s exams;

• helping expert witnesses or other professionals prepare to give evidence in Court.

Teaching

For a number of years was Senior Lecturer at the University of Portsmouth teaching criminal law, expert evidence and advocacy.

I have been asked to give legal analysis and comment on radio & television, & have advised the BBC’s Rough Justice on a murder conviction since overturned by the Court of Appeal.
